Open year-round, Flaxmere Pool is a two-pool, heated indoor complex located in the heart of Flaxmere.
With its 25-metre training pool and 15-metre learn to swim pool, Flaxmere Pool offers a range of options to suit all interests including excellent learn to swim, AquaFit and competitive swimming programmes.
The complex is also a base for regional swim and canoe polo meets.
There’s always fun to be had at Flaxmere Pool with giant inflatables often entertaining the kids during the weekend in winter and school holidays.
Open year-round, the Clive War Memorial Pool is a two-pool, heated indoor complex located in Farndon Park on the edge of the Clive River.
The complex features a 25-metre training pool and 15 metre learn to swim pool, superb learn to swim classes and dedicated lanes for water play and lap swimming. If you prefer to work out with others, our AquaFit classes cater for all fitness levels.
A base for the Trojan Swim Club, Waimarama Surf Club and Hawke’s Bay Canoe Polo, Clive Pool is also used for school learn to swim and water safety classes.

Village Pool is a four-pool outdoor complex located in the Havelock North Village Green.
Open during the summer months, the four-pool complex includes a 33-metre pool with dedicated lanes for lap swimming; a toddlers pools; learners pools; and two-metre deep pool in a securely fenced-off area.
The main pool and 2m deep pools are heated to 24 degrees, while the learners and toddlers pools are warmer at 27 degrees.
Shaded spots and a grassed area for games make Village Pool the perfect place to picnic after snacking up on goodies from our snack shop. We also provide a BBQ to hire.
A base for the Waimarama Surf Club and the Havelock North Swim Club, the Village Pool is also regularly used for school swimming sports.
Frimley Pool is a three-pool outdoor complex located next to Frimley Park.
Open during the summer months, Frimley Pool features Hawke’s Bay’s only 50-metre pool with adjacent grandstand; as well as a learner and toddler pool.
Bring the chilly bin and make a family day of it with our covered BBQ and seating area plus plenty of grass for basking in the sun.
